Tammy Miller

Tammy Miller is a professor in JJC’s Agriculture, Horticulture and Veterinary Services Department. Miller has taught at JJC for over two decades, teaching courses in agriculture, economics, soil science, agriculture business management and horticulture. She has been a pioneer in developing online and hybrid courses at the college, having taught in the format for over 20 years. Outside the classroom, Miller continues to pursue professional development and extra-curricular opportunities to help JJC and its students grow. Miller is JJC’s agriculture business coordinator, hosts the JJC Women Changing the Face of Agriculture Conference, serves on the JJC Online Instruction Steering Committee and much more. In 2022, she was recognized for her outstanding work as JJC’s National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) award winner and in 2023, she was the recipient of JJC’s Outstanding Faculty Member Award and asked to be the Faculty Commencement Speaker. Miller is a proud JJC alum and feels grateful to still be a part of this incredible community.
